Meet Mike Felts
Owner/ Operator
A resident of Flagstaff, Arizona for 44 years, Mike currently serves as a Battalion Chief and Paramedic with a Northern Arizona Fire Department, bringing 19 years of dedicated service to the community. He is an NFPA-certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialist and holds extensive FEMA Incident Command System certifications, including ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800.
His wildfire training includes certifications in S-130, S-131, S-133, S-134, S-190, and L-180. In addition to his public service, Mike is the Chief of Operations for Snuffed Wildfire, a company participating in the global XPRIZE competition, which focuses on the early detection of wildfires using satellite imagery.
Mike is a Member of Team Snuffed, 2nd Place at XPRIZE Wildfire for innovative space-based fire detection ($250K award).
He is also the co-owner of Snuffed Wildfire Tech.
